2010 ARIZONA GRAND PRIX SERIES - ROUND 7 |

Thanks for checking out our latest race coverage. Round 7 of the AZ GP Series was held out at Speedworld MX park in Surprise, AZ. We had a great time racing our quads and our 1st UTV race. Great fun!!! Looking forward to rounds 8 & 9 in December at Grinding Stone in Fountain Hills, AZ. ROUND 7 - OCTOBER 16, 2010 Round 7 of the AZGP series was held out at Speedworld MX in Surprise, Arizona. It went well considering the low turn out, it's too bad more local racers don't attend these events. AZGP is extremely affordable in comparison to the other local options and the tracks are always a lot of fun. Jeff Barrett raced in the 40+ B class on his 2006 Honda TRX450R and battled with a dry and dusty field, having fun being back on the track. Jeff also raced his 2010 Polaris RZRS for the 1st time and did amazing. He battled for a couple laps with the class leader and finally passing for 1st place. Their race was pretty long and finished in the dark. Lots of fun out there. Missy Barrett is still on the IR and won't be racing until the final 2 rounds in December. Noelani Barrett raced in the 4-6 year, 50cc class on her 2009 DRR DRX 50 and was the only rider in her class. AZGP gave her the main mx track for 35 minutes and she had a blast racing "the big track". Photo's and video clips are below.
