PLACES TO RIDE - WISCONSIN |
|
This page was developed to to
inform you of different places to ride. We've been riding quads since the early
90's, so our focus is
on those riding areas that allow quads. We included as much info as possible for
dirt bikes, but you may want to contact the various facilities for the
latest track info. We've tried to give as much info as we could for
each place that we've been to and we hope you'll find it beneficial when inquiring
about a place to visit. If you're thinking of visiting one of these place and have some questions like travel
time, places to stay and eat etc, send us an
email and we'll try our best to help you
out. Also, if you know of a great place to ride
quads, send us an
email
with the location, nearest larger city, type of riding, and a website or
contact information for the location and we'll gladly add it to our site. So load up the toys
and have fun!
Scroll down to check out
various riding areas. Feel free to come over and say "HI" if you should see us at your track or in the dunes. Stay young, have fun, play!
Another location that we've researched and yet to visit is Gravity Park. It's located 1 mile north of Chilton on highway 57. Quads are welcome and have some pretty good size classes in the Motocross Quad Series. There's also a short-track (TT), go-kart track, and Gravity Park is home of the WSA Wisconsin District Snocross Series. 11/22/03: We had no problem finding Gravity Park as we were touring Wisconsin, and catching a Packers game. It was snowing and about 20º but the track looked like it would be fun. It didn't appear to have any jumps that would get you into too much trouble. It looks like a great place for all skill levels. We just got our December ('03) ATV Sport magazine and there's a nice write-up on Gravity Park on page 8.
We also have plans to visit this area in 2004 so all we can say at this point is that it's located 13 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids off highway 13, on Archer Drive. Dyracuse offers over 8 miles of trails situated on 250 acres, including an ATV and 2 motocross tracks and an Enduro trail loop of 6 miles. Also available are picnic grounds with grills, tables, playground area, shelter house, and restrooms with both hot & cold water. Daily admission is $10, a single season pass is $100, and a family pass is $150. Spectators are free except for race days. The park is open from late March thru October. The park is open from 10am to dusk on weekends and is available for private rental on weekdays for $100 per day.
