PINEY CREEKS NATIONAL FOREST, OZARKS - DOVER, AR
October 22, 2022 - Our first trip up to the Ozarks! We headed out in the am and 2¾ hours later, we were arriving at Mack's Pines to park, pay ($5/ohv), pick up some swag, and get some trail info. About 30 minutes north of Russellville right on highway 7. Beautiful scenery. We had recently downloaded the Maprika app and the 2022 Ozark National Forest OHV MVUM map to be prepared, and glad we did. After a quick tutorial from the friendly staff at Mack's we headed out to explore some new areas. We met some very friendly trail riders out at the Dover Lights Overlook. Stunning views and great conversations! Must have been about 10-12 other SxS's and quads at the same time checking out the panoramic views. We uploaded some of our videos and photo's will be coming soon.

THE RIDGE OFFROAD PARK - BRADFORD, AR
|
May 6, 2023 - Seems like it's been raining every weekend since the first of March, but we finally got back out to The Ridge for some fun. It's been a number of months since our last visit and it was great to see more trails cut, fields being worked, and a lot of other riders; jeeps, SxS's, and quads of all types. Had one of the quad guys parked near us ask for a ride in our Wildcat XX and we didn't hesitate to take him around. Hopefully we'll be able to get back out here again soon, also hoping to hit some races this spring and summer at various venues and this is a great place to practice.

September 24, 2022 - Another trip out to The Ridge. After a few Fall-type days, we were back into pushing the triple digit mark but needed some seat time. Great day up at The Ridge Off-Road Park! Explored a lot more trails, some on the extreme side for us, coming from life in the open desert terrains - but fun and challenging. We explored new fields, new trails, didn't get stuck any where, some trees are starting to change for Fall, and we saw a good size deer about 20 feet away while going from the Mounds to Hartle Pond. Weather was great, met some other riders, had another great time! We need to remember to take more photos and videos while out there, this place is great! These videos are all from Gunnar's Gully.

August 21, 2022 - In hopes of getting in some seat time for an upcoming race, we headed a couple hours north up to Bradford to check out The Ridge Offroad Park, and it did not disappoint! Access was extremely easy, signs posted to direct off-roaders, and noticeable flags on the road in. As you enter the park there's a huge grass area for parking, very friendly staff, vault restrooms, and to the east some serious mud bogs that look like they could be pretty entertaining for drivers and spectators alike. Through the trees are the trailheads and different fields and what we really liked was how well they were marked and labeled. The signs for each field entrance and trail is clearly visible and big so you can't miss them. Our favorite area was the ScottLynne Field where the drag strip is located, along with trails and obstacles that we connected together to make a practice track :) The trails wind all over the park, great elevation, a fun place for the entire family!
Directions: Coming from the Little Rock area, take highway 67 (soon to be I-57) northeast up to Bradford. Take exit 65 at Bradford and go left at the hwy exit. Follow Main street past the Dollar General into town and take a right at the light onto 2nd Street. Take the first left onto Walnut St, right at the Library. Take the second right onto Church Street. Follow Church Street, it turns into Mason Hill Road, and then turns into Jackson 1. Follow up the hill, gets pretty steep, and watch for the large white sign on your right to turn Left onto Jackson 306. Jackson 306 is a dirt road and just follow it west for half a mile to the park. The Ridge Offroad Park is very affordable for the family, $15/person (10 & under free) at the time of our visit, and their hours are Friday afternoons through Sunday evenings with camping available.

HOT SPRINGS OFFROAD PARK - HOT SPRINGS, AR
July 17, 2022 - We loaded up the toys and made the 2 hour drive to Hot Springs Offroad Park and were quite impressed with their extensive trail system. As you enter the park you'll see the Hot Springs store and rider sign up building. Get your souvenirs, snacks, and more. There are RV camping areas, children's play area, nice restrooms for those of us who are just there for the day, and all around the park it's very clean. We unloaded our Wildcat XX's, grabbed our helmets, gloves, and goggles and hit the trails. We made a wrong turn almost immediately and ended up on Patriotic Pass. We were not ready for what that trail had to offer, after getting a ways down it, but thankfully found a 'just wide enough' area on the trail to turn around and committed to pay better attention to the signage. The trails we ventured on were all clearly marked between a 1-Diamond (easier) to a 5-Diamond (extreme), and we eventually stuck to the 1 & 2-Diamonds to get familiar with what to expect out of the trails and our abilities, quite a difference from open desert and dunes for us. Photos don't do it justice with elevation changes, but we had a lot of fun. We were not able to explore as much of the park as we would have liked, but, God-willing, we'll be back. Short video of a 1-Diamond trail shown.

CARTER OFFROAD PARK - alexander, AR
June 5, 2022 - Today we ventured out to Carter Offroad Park to explore their 1000 acres, or at least a portion, and enjoy a sunny weekend in the dirt. To our surprise it was not very busy out there at all today, which made it pretty cool for just exploring and enjoying the scenery. Carter's is located just southwest of Little Rock, off of I-30 and the Bryant Parkway exit. Carter's is 68 miles from us, and we're still amazed that we need to head INTO the city for riding areas, so different from what we're used to. Entry is $20 per offroad vehicle and your wristband is good for 24 hours, and they are open 24/7/365. Staff was very friendly and they even have a compressor to use to air up your tires if need be. We were very grateful for that. We'll get more info up soon, but to contact Carter's or to visit they are located at: 7498 Anderson Street, Alexander, Arkansas 72002, 501-400-3860 carteroffroadpark@gmail.com
HIGHWAY 89 RACEWAY - Sherwood, AR
April 2, 2022 - We loaded up and headed out to Highway 89 Raceway today with a couple of goals in mind, to have fun and not get too sore. We had fun!!
Hwy 89 Raceway is a family friendly track, a great vet style track with lots of tables of various sizes, some are formed for doubles or triples. Corners are great for the quads, the track is long, with a lot of challenges to keep you busy and on your pegs. Beautiful weather today and a lot of fun riding! Thank you Highway 89 Raceway!!
We had a really good time out here, but they are only open on occasional Saturday's. Know before you go, check the Highway 89 Facebook page to make sure they're open before you head out.
Quads are welcomed and encouraged!

March 5, 2022 - We made a trip out to Highway 89 Raceway today with a couple of goals in mind, to find it and to see if quads are allowed. Both goals accomplished!
Hwy 89 Raceway is located north of Little Rock on Highway 89, east of Mayflower on I-40. For us, it was a 69 miles drive, NW of Stuttgart, and well worth the trip. We met with the track owner, she would like to see more quads come out... Quads are welcomed and encouraged! No split sessions, bikes will have to learn to ride with us out there :)
Hwy 89 Raceway has a vet style motocross track, trails, mud bogs, and a track for kids from what we saw. $20 a rider, sign in before riding, typical track amenities. Not knowing if quads were allowed, we kept the toys at home on this trip, but we will be heading back very soon, God willing.
Know before you go, check the Highway 89 Facebook page to make sure they're open before you head out.
Below are a few pix we took, the dirt looked great! We will post more photo's as soon as we can. Thanks again for checking out our site.

OTT PARK - North Little Rock, AR
March 19, 2022 - After a couple of snowy and rainy weekends we finally caught a break in the weather and headed out to Ott Park to check it out. The main entrance trail is very wide and on this particular Saturday, had a lot of water hazards to navigate, or like us, go around. The trail that we jumped on was sandy and some water, but overall in great condition. The Upper section of Ott Park is open riding, a great place for beginners and serious mud bog personalities - which we also went around, lol.
March 5, 2022 - Today we set out on a mission to find some places to ride in our new home state. Ott Park is located 45 minutes West of Stuttgart right at the I-440 and Hwy 165 intersection. We met some great people in the staging area who filled us in on what to expect out here. We left the toys at home on this trip but will be back out here soon, especially since it's the closest riding area near us. Ott Park is free for public use, but like everywhere we ride, as a community we need to keep it clean to keep it open. Pack it in, Pack it out. There are a lot of trails that wind through the trees and go all the way down to the Arkansas River. Ott Park is known to be a little busy on holiday weekends, so be prepared and show up early to get your group of trailers in there. We were told that Ott Park is a popular riding area for quads, bikes, and SxS's. The parking lot was filling up with families arriving with quads, a 3-wheeler, dirtbikes, and a couple of Side-by-Sides. We're looking forward to hauling our quads out to Ott Park and checking it out. We will post more photos and info as soon as we can.
HORSES & HARLEYS ATV PARK - HELENA-WEST HELENA, AR
July 4, 2022 - As we celebrate our nations birthday and the freedom many of us take for granted, we headed out to explore landmarks in eastern Arkansas. On our way to Freedom Park in Helena we swung by Horses & Harleys ATV Park. It was very easy to find and has really good access, but being the only ones out here today, we weren't able to learn much about the place (should have brought our toys). We're guessing you park in the grass area and if you feel like starting your day wet, hit the first water hole as you head east into the trees. We will probably be back out here before too long with our toys and post updates after we ride and explore the park. Horses & Harleys is located at 1012 N. 4th St. Helena-West Helena, AR 72390 and there's more info on this Arkansas tour page for Horses & Harleys.
